korridor use case

Securing several sites without a network team

Branches, workshops, laboratories: each site has its own firewall, Internet link and admin interface, to be handled one by one.

The short answer

korridor provides each site with the firewall, management of two Internet links, VPN and application publishing. Configuration is a signed file sent remotely, not a web interface to revisit site by site.

The site stays reachable

Each Internet link is tested continuously; if the fibre goes down, the second link takes over, then traffic returns automatically.

  • nftables firewall fully described in the configuration
  • Two Internet links, automatic failover and failback
  • Two-machine high availability, virtual address taken over in 0.45 seconds
  • Updates without service interruption

A configuration you can read

Configuration is versioned and signed. An invalid version is never applied: the last valid configuration stays in force.

  • Signed updates, with automatic rollback
  • Prometheus metrics and logs usable by your SIEM
  • Local diagnostic console

Is it the right tool for you?

korridor fits if…

  • You manage several sites without a dedicated network team.
  • Your sites currently depend on a single Internet link.
  • You want to change the configuration of every site from one place.

Limits to know

  • korridor installs on one Linux machine or VM per site.
  • High availability requires two machines on the site.
  • Pricing is still being defined.
